Accept a finalement peu brillé dans sa carrière, hormis le lointain Ball to the Wall. Le groupe a souvent été coincé quelque part entre AC/DC et Judas Priest, peinant à s'offrir une identité forte. Son retour avec Blood of the Nations est inattendu, surtout par la qualité de l'album. Sans aller jusqu'à parler de neo-metal, Blood of the Nations offre un son des plus actuels. Sans oublier les fondamentaux du heavy classique, chevauchées épiques du guitariste et cris aigus du chanteur. Au chant Udo Dirkscneider est remplacé par un Mark Tornillo, qui se révèle largement au niveau. Blood of the Nations a d'ailleurs besoin d'un vocaliste en forme, les thèmes de bravoure se...
