Biographie de Antony and the Johnsons
D'origine britannique, mais grandi en Californie, Antony Hegarty fonde Antony and the Johnsons à New York en 2000. Le personnage ambigu et les tentations expérimentales du leader ont permis au groupe de développer un univers particulièrement original, au gré des albums Antony and the Johnsons (2000), I Am A Bird Now (2005) et The Crying Light (2009), et de multiples tournées, en particulier en compagnie de Lou Reed. Devenu la coqueluche des critiques spécialisés, Antony and the Johnsons publie un remarquable Swanlights en 2010.
