The Carbon Copy Silver Lining leur premier album auto-produit en 2001 attire l'attention de serj Tankian de System of a Dawn qui signe Fair to Midland sur son label. En 2007, le très travaillé Fables from a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True recueille de très favorables critiques.
