Après The Great Milenko en 1997 qui permet à Insane Clown Posse de s'inviter dans la cour des grands, les narquois clowns tueurs récidivent avec The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. Ici le mélange s'avère plus rap que metal, le tout entrecoupé de fanfares venues de l'univers du cirque. Si Insane Clown Posse ne fait pas dans la nuance, force est de constater que le groupe va au bout de son concept. The Amazing Jeckel Brothers est à ce titre un classique du genre initié par Violent J et Shaggy 2 Dope, l'horrorcore. Si les fans du genre trouvent de quoi se réjouir tout au long de l'album, un public moins convaincu est rapidement lassé par les titres des deux clowns infernaux. The Amazing Jeckel...
