Le groupe de folk-pop anglais Noah and the Whale fait un début timide avec « 5 Years Time » à l'automne 2007. Réédité un an après il est n°7 des charts dans la foulée de l'album Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down (2008). En 2009 sort The First Days of Spring.
