Rhythms del Mundo est un projet caritatif et une expérience de fusion entre la musique cubaine, représentée par Ibrahim Ferrer (en 2006) et Omara Portuondo du Buena Vista Social Club, et l'univers pop/rock de U2, Sting, Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand et consorts. A l'album Rhythms del Mundo: Cuba succède Rhythms del Mundo: Classics en 2009.
